I’m Brent Edwards, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with experience in crisis psychiatry, military medicine, and outpatient mental health care. Based in San Diego, I provide telehealth care to patients throughout California.

My role is to listen carefully, explain your options in plain language, and help you build a treatment plan that reflects your needs and goals. You steer the direction of your care; I’m here to offer clinical guidance, thoughtful recommendations, and steady support.

Brent primarily sees adults and also accepts adolescents and children age 6 and older. A parent or legal guardian participates in care for minors as appropriate.

Where are appointments available?

Care is provided exclusively through telehealth to patients who are physically located in California at the time of their appointment.

How do I use my insurance?

Do appointments include therapy?

Visits primarily focus on psychiatric evaluation and medication management. Supportive and behavior-focused strategies may be incorporated when useful, but this service is not a substitute for ongoing psychotherapy.
