I’m Brent Edwards, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with experience in crisis psychiatry, military medicine, and outpatient mental health care. Based in San Diego, I provide telehealth care to patients throughout California.
My role is to listen carefully, explain your options in plain language, and help you build a treatment plan that reflects your needs and goals. You steer the direction of your care; I’m here to offer clinical guidance, thoughtful recommendations, and steady support.
I came to psychiatry through more than fifteen years as a Navy nurse, much of it spent helping people through the hardest moments of their lives. That experience shaped how I practice: calmly, without judgment, and with respect for what it takes to ask for help.
Every person’s experience is different. Care begins with a complete evaluation—not a one-size-fits-all assumption.
